Treatment of postmenopausal osteoporosis: to reduce the risk of vertebral fractures. Treatment of established postmenopausal osteoporosis: to reduce the risk of hip fractures. Prevention of osteoporosis in postmenopaussal women with increased risk of osteoporosis.
